Killick Hinds and Ana Gamboa 

The project of Ana Gamboa (cello) and Killick Hinds (various strings) was born from their first meeting in Rosario, Argentina, and has unfolded across different geographies and moments of reunion. After their initial collaboration in the United States, where they recorded their debut album Where Wolf Wash Your Whoosh Fur, the duo reconnected in Mexico, expanding a sonic dialogue that travels with them and reinvents itself on every stage. They will perform together in Ecuador in January 2026.

Their music is rooted in free improvisation, a territory where time and space fold, and sound becomes a living matter. In their first album, even the title itself plays with phonetic ambiguity and playful dissonance, inviting listeners into a space where meanings shift, collide, and dissolve—much like the guitar and cello, which intertwine until they merge into a single sonic entity.

Each encounter becomes a new map: hypnotic balances of tension and calm, dialogues oscillating between intimacy and expansion, a ping-pong of gestures that opens listening towards the uncertain and ever-changing. At its core, the project is a shared journey that crosses geographies, memories, and resonances, celebrating the possibility of coming together again to create from the ephemeral and the unpredictable.
